I hope this finds you healthy and well in body, mind and soul.
How has this time changed you? In what ways are you thinking, feeling, being different?
Life offers us opportunities all the time to be changed by the experiences we have—to digest what happens, and then integrate the nourishment and wisdom into our being, causing transformation of who we are.
And this particular time is one of great upheaval on so many levels, we can’t even count. So how to cope and potentially thrive when so much is shifting the very ground beneath us?
This is a time to really get clear on what your priorities are. What matters to you ultimately? Not your to-do list, not what other people tell you should matter to you, but rock bottom. If these were your last moments on earth, where would you have wanted to spend more of your limited time?
That is where we are. Because of everything going on, it simplifies things in a way. A lot of the clutter and busyness was removed from our lives and now as we edge back to an altered normal, are you able to choose more consciously and carefully what to give your attention to?
“The only choice we have is where to put our awareness.”

For me it is about looking for places that nourish me—
Being in nature feeds my soul in ways that support me. It helps me tune out the clatter and noise and drop more deeply into peace and stillness. And as we go about moving into the next cycle of seasons, there is so much transformation and beauty to witness and take part in.
Music never ceases to take me to that place of full enjoyment. Whether through singing, dancing, listening, playing—it serves as an expression of a part of me unlike anything else.
Meditation drops me out of my active mind and into a larger settled-ness, where the minutiae of my issues gets put into perspective and the reality of just being is profoundly felt.
Contact with those I love deeply moves to a new level of clarity, realizing that opening my heart as wide and deep as I can results in a level of loving connection that moves me to tears with its preciousness.
What is it for you? This is an opportunity like none other to get clear on what really matters to you. What a tragedy this time has been and continues to be, and what an amazing gift. Don’t be in such a rush to get back to “normal” that you miss the gift part….
