In my current professional life, I am coaching, facilitating seminars for a seminar company and creating my new keynote presentation. It all keeps me really busy, so I am writing fewer newsletters these days. Thanks for hanging in there and reading when I do write.
I feel the fullness and richness of this variety of experiences. In coaching, I get to have intimate, deep conversations of transformation for both the client and myself.
In my seminar facilitation, I get to meet people from all types of businesses and corporations, and connect with them in an engaged conversation that hopefully inspires living a more balanced, satisfying life both at work and at home.
And as I write my heart into my new keynote, I feel the exhilaration of bringing an even deeper, transformative conversation to groups of people.
It has been a long journey to where I am now, where I get to do work that is not only contributing to other peoples lives, but that sustains me and allows me to express myself passionately, purposefully and grow in my potential every day. It was well worth the effort.
Taking the small incremental steps at first with sustained focus towards what we want to create, despite all the “shoulds”, self-limitations and distractions in our lives, culminates in creating a life of fulfillment. I have found that:
- Taking incremental steps builds the courage muscle that supports larger and larger changes,
- Using the word NO more often for things we really don’t want to do,
- Setting limits and boundaries on emotionally and psychologically taxing activities and people,
- Creating an Ideal Week for ourselves and then committing to live closer and closer to it’s design,
- Valuing our limited time, dropping the low nourishing activities that sap our energy.
All of this helps keep the sustained focus on creating a passionate, purposeful life that supports us in growing towards our potential. It is well worth the effort.
Glad you are doing well. Good for you.
