I just facilitated the third heart listening group, this one on courage. These groups have been a wonderful resource for me as well as the others. I find over and over that what I am drawn to is what I most need to learn next.
And what I have learned this time has helped me to finally birth my new keynote presentation, which is about the deeper message that I have to deliver. It required listening to my heart and responding and then finding the inner courage to bring it into the world. I am making my way.
Which means that for the time being, I am no longer leading the group. I need to gather all of my energy and resources and focus them towards taking this message into the world in a way that benefits the soul development of others and sustains me.
I feel a mix of excitement and anxiety as I commit this message to paper and PowerPoint. This process is helping me get clear on what is most important for me in my development and can hopefully be a signpost for others in their development.
When we take that courageous step beyond what is familiar and comfortable, we usually get a mix of excitement and anxiety. And just over that border waits adventure, discovery and the revelation of what can be.
What is it for you? What is the inner dynamism moving in you, urging you to take action at the edge of what’s familiar? Follow that impulse.
What can be will only be revealed as we commit to leaving inertia, fear and comfort behind and step into the wondrous adventure that lies ahead. Happy trails to you.
