Today is my 62nd birthday. Thank you to all of you who have sent me birthday wishes. I am deeply touched and I feel the love.
I was born on the day President Eisenhower was elected. Many told my mother she should name me Mamie after his wife. My maiden name is McGinnis, so it would have been Mamie McGinnis. I am so happy my mother didn’t listen to them…
As I check in with where I am on this day, at this point in time and space, I find that there is pleasure, there are challenges, there is depth, there are things not going exactly as I had planned and there are surprises that are beyond my wildest dreams.
I realize that although I have the power to choose, interact with and respond to what happens in my life, I am in a co-creation with the universe—one that is way beyond my total control and orchestration. The more I accept what is unfolding with grace, learning and respect for the mystery, the more I receive the wisdom of it all.
There is so much to see, discover and experience—many layers of existence all happening at once. I/we have a choice of which layer to focus on—the clue is in what our heart is guiding us towards.
When I stay connected to my heart, no matter what is going on in it, I realize it is a portal into what is best for me, what it is arising that I need to process, what direction I am called to move towards.
This life is a sweet one, full of delicious encounters of meaning, sensations and experiences, and I am so appreciative for the time I have to participate in it.
Thank you for being part of my life. I am deeply grateful.
You are blessed in so many ways, and it is a blessing to so many others that you choose to share your wisdom and insights, talents, honesty, and love. Wishing you many more joyous birthdays along your amazing journey!
Love,
Marcia Glantz
Thank you so much, Marcia. I send it right back your way. Much love-Diane
